Jazz in Motion: IG Jazz Session with Powerrangers
On October 12, 2026, the IG Jazz Session brings the formation Powerrangers into the spotlight at Casino Mannheim. Starting at 9:00 PM, an acoustic jazz ensemble meets the focused live atmosphere of an open session stage.
Five musicians, one common sound
Paul Scheugenpflug on saxophone, Valentin Findling on piano, Jakob Koch on bass, and Moritz Grosch on drums make up the lineup for the evening. Between melodic guidance, rhythmic precision, and spontaneous interaction, a concert moment arises that thrives on the interplay.
Improvisation with clear musical language
Saxophone, piano, double bass, and drums give the session its characteristic sound. The musical tension grows from the direct communication of the four instruments: lines are picked up, condensed, and led in new directions in the next moment.
Live jazz in the spotlight
The spotlight at Casino Mannheim creates the perfect setting for an intimate concert experience. The audience's mood arises directly from the acoustics, stage performance, and the visible synchronization of the musicians. Jazz fans experience a formation whose appeal lies in open musical dialogue.
Conclusion
The IG Jazz Session: Powerrangers promises a focused evening for everyone who appreciates modern live jazz, improvised passages, and intense ensemble playing. Those who want to not only listen to jazz but experience it in its immediate creation will find the perfect evening on October 12, 2026, in the spotlight at Casino Mannheim.
