When Mannheim Sings Christmas Carols Together
On December 21, 2026, the Carl-Benz-Stadium will transform into a giant Christmas choir. At the Mannheim Stadium Singing, thousands of visitors will sing well-known Christmas songs together and experience a memorable family event full of warmth, music, and goosebumps just before Christmas Eve.
A Stadium Becomes a Christmas Choir
Whether Silent Night, O You Joyful, or Jingle Bells: The program combines traditional Christmas songs with popular Christmas hits. Professional singers will lead the melodies, and then the audience will sing along together. This creates a unique live atmosphere where many individual voices merge into a powerful overall sound.
Community, Sound, and Festive Atmosphere
The Carl-Benz-Stadium provides an extraordinary stage for the Christmas singing. The open stadium architecture carries the choir sound across the stands while the audience's mood shapes the concert experience. Families, friend groups, and Christmas fans will enjoy a musical evening that focuses less on a classic stage performance and more on collective participation.
Musical Kickoff Before Christmas Eve
The event is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM, with the conclusion at 7:00 PM. This places the stadium singing right in the heart of the Advent season and creates an opportunity for a joint family outing. The musical direction by professional singers ensures orientation, synchronization, and a smooth entry into each song.
An Experience for the Whole Family
The stadium singing is aimed at people of all ages. Children will discover familiar melodies, adults will enjoy beloved Christmas classics, and the entire stadium will become a communal sound space. This blend of concert, sing-along event, and pre-Christmas family gathering is what makes the evening in Mannheim special.
Conclusion: Christmas Magic to Sing Along
Those who want to not only hear Christmas music but also become part of the choir will find an extraordinary concert experience at the Carl-Benz-Stadium. Sing together with thousands of voices, feel the festive energy of the stands, and experience Mannheim on the musical side just two days before Christmas Eve.
