Pumpkin Carving at the Recreation Center: Halloween Fun for Young Artists

Pumpkin Carving at the Recreation Center: Creative Halloween Fun for Kids

As autumn rustles the leaves and Halloween approaches, it gets creative and a bit mysterious at the Luisenpark Recreation Center in Mannheim. During the pumpkin carving event, children will create their own glowing Halloween pumpkin and take their colorful creation home.

With Imagination and Safe Hands to Their Own Pumpkin

With guidance, children transform a pumpkin into a personal autumn decoration. Whether a friendly face, funny grimace, or spooky pattern: the design and creation depend on the child's own idea. This creative family experience combines children's laughter, fun learning, and quality time in a cozy autumn atmosphere.

Age-Appropriate, Child-Friendly, and Full of Discovery

The offering is aimed at children aged 5 to 10 years. At this age, creative work strengthens fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and independent planning. Pumpkin carving provides an age-appropriate learning experience where children explore materials, make decisions, and create visible results.

Autumn Excitement for Halloween

The scent of fresh pumpkins, vibrant colors, and imaginative faces make the event a special autumn moment. Anyone who has already found the perfect pumpkin may bring it along. For all others, pumpkins will be available on site. This creates a personal decoration that will later adorn their home and remind them of a creative afternoon at Luisenpark.

Important Notes for Families

The meeting point is the Recreation Center. Participation costs 10 euros per child plus parking fee. Prior registration is required. Information and registrations can be made at the Green School at 0621 4100554 or at the Recreation Center at 0621 4100541.
