ALMA brings soft tones to the heart

On Friday, October 16, 2026, the Theater Oliv will be dedicated to intimate live music: The Mannheim singer-songwriter duo ALMA will perform a heartfelt short concert featuring melancholic, calm, and profound songs as part of the Lichtmeile.

Between melancholy and joy of life

ALMA consists of Manuela Zaiser on vocals and Alex Beck on guitar and vocals. Their music opens a sensitive space for the contradictory facets of love. Selected cover songs meet original compositions that connect personal stories, subtle tension, and emotional closeness.

Acoustic intimacy at Theater Oliv

From 20:00 to 20:30, the duo will unfold their stage performance at Theater Oliv on Alten Meßplatz. The reduced singer-songwriter sound places voice, guitar, and lyrical nuances in the spotlight. Each melody gets space to resonate, while the audience's mood grows between focused listening and warm connection.

A concert in the Lichtmeile program

The concert is part of Lichtmeile 2026, whose Neckarstädter Nights will fill numerous venues in Mannheim with music, art, and encounters on Friday evening. ALMA provides a quiet, emotional counterpoint to the other rock, pop, jazz, and club formats of the festival.

Conclusion: Closeness instead of volume

For those who love handmade music, honest voices, and finely arranged singer-songwriter moments, ALMA offers a particularly close concert experience. Admission is free. It's best to arrive early at Theater Oliv to experience this half hour full of emotion live.
