Italian Cinema with Heart and Fine Humor in Mannheim
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Cinema Italia! brings current Italian cinema to the screen of Cinema Quadrat Mannheim with Always Wrong – How You Move, Mistake. The screening begins at 7:30 PM and runs in Italian original version with German subtitles.
A Family Story Between Dolce Vita and Everyday Chaos
At the center is 75-year-old Gianni, who is enjoying his comfortable retirement. His quiet life is thrown out of sync when his daughter Sofia suddenly shows up at the door. In her baggage: a serious marital crisis and two lively grandchildren, who completely turn Gianni's everyday life upside down.
Gianni Di Gregorio Tells with Ease
Director and main actor Gianni Di Gregorio combines warm-hearted humor with a keen look at family, generations, and the small inconveniences of living together. Alongside Di Gregorio, Greta Scarano, Tom Wlaschiha, Anna Losano, Pietro Serpi, and Iaia Forte also star. The film, created in 2025, lasts 97 minutes and promises Italian cinema culture with charm, situational comedy, and human closeness.
