Reading Gnomes: A magical storytime for little book lovers
When stories come to life, a special family experience begins for children: At the Reading Gnomes in the Children's and Youth Library Mannheim, three to five-year-olds discover the joy of books, images, and language together with their families.
Reading aloud, marveling, and diving in together
The lively storytime invites children to listen attentively, look at pictures, and let their imagination run wild. The stories create space for curiosity, children's laughter, and shared time in a relaxed atmosphere.
Age-appropriate and with lots of fun learning
The program is aimed at children aged three to five and is thus tailored to early development. Reading aloud supports vocabulary, concentration, language comprehension, and emotional development. At the same time, children experience books as something communal and joyful.
A family moment in the children's library
With Caroline Gallicchio and Renate Kolb, experienced librarians accompany the storytime. The Children's and Youth Library Mannheim regularly offers storytimes, picture book cinemas, and other reading promotion programs for young visitors.
Well accessible in Dalberghaus
The event takes place in the Children's and Youth Library in Dalberghaus at N 3, 4. The city train stop Paradeplatz is nearby. Bicycle racks are available at Dalbergplatz; paid parking options are in the N 1 underground garage, in the N 2 parking garage, and at surrounding short-term parking areas.
Conclusion: Book time that connects families
Reading Gnomes promises a warm-hearted storytime filled with imagination, fun learning, and valuable shared time. Families experience how stories spark children's curiosity and lay the foundation for lifelong joy in reading. Sign up now and dive together into the world of books.
